LEGO Digital Designer (FREE)
This is free software from LEGO. It is used to design and view models of robots. The software is a form of computer aided design (CAD) and
features many of the same concepts and structures of other CAD software. Students who learn how to use LEGO Digital Designer will easily
be able to transfer these skills to other CAD software programs. CAD software is an integral part of mechanical engineering, architecture,
aerospace, automotive, animation, and dozens of other industries. CAD is enabling the growth of new fields such as
computational geometry and
mathematical visualization.

Models
Many of our RoboClub robots were designed using LDD and the models are available for downloading from: http://www.robocatz.com/models.htm.
There is a link to the Models at the top of each RoboCatz web page. You may need to download the models to your MyDocuments folder before opening
them in LDD. Ask a parent for help if you are trying to download a model and open it in the LDD software.
